AUCMS signs up six ambassadors

THE Allianze University College of Medical Sciences (AUCMS) in Kepala Batas has introduced six local artistes as their ambassadors.

They are Khai Wahi, Lan Kristal, Rosma Sidik, Salima Habibi, Aliff Razali and Zuraini Kassim.

World Event Management Sdn Bhd, on behalf of the celebrities, signed a one-year contract with the university college at a ceremony held at a hotel in Kepala Batas.

AUCMS president Datuk Dr Zainuddin Md Wazir said the six artistes were chosen as ambassadors as they practised a healthy lifestyle and that could be a good example for the students and the community in Kepala Batas.

“We are hoping that the celebrities could help to promote a positive lifestyle, and that could be done through their participation in extracurricular activities and services provided by the students to the community at Kepala Batas and gradually to other places,” said Dr Zainuddin to reporters after the recent signing ceremony.

Dr Zainuddin said the artistes would also participate in all activities organized by the university college.

World Event Management managing director Hanafiah Mohd Yunus said the company was proud to be associated with the university college.

“We hope our participation will bring the university college to greater heights,” he said, adding that the move might even motivate the artistes to take up short term courses.
